Dear collaborators,

We would like to welcome the new year 2024 with one of our most exotic properties. Six Senses Bhutan invites you to explore the wonders of this unique destination through its five properties, each designed to awaken your senses and immerse you in the authentic beauty of these Himalayan corners.

Guests can visit one of the lodges or, for a more authentic Bhutanese experience, a combination of all five, located in Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey, Bumthang and Paro.

Thimphu Lodge

At an altitude of 2,650 meters and surrounded by forest, mountains and temples scattered across the landscape, it becomes the perfect escape after visiting the capital. In addition, its strategic location allows for magnificent views that you can’t miss. Immerse yourself in its vibrant culture while relaxing in a magical environment that embraces you from the very first moment.

*Fun fact: Thimphu is the only capital city in the world without traffic lights!

Punakha Lodge

Located at the top of one of the lowest valleys in Bhutan, at an altitude of 3,116 meters, is this hotel known as “The Flying Farmhouse”, in the middle of the rice fields. Its rural atmosphere and the warmer climate of its surroundings make it a very special place where you can also feel the history, since Punakha was the capital of the country for 300 years until 1950.

Gangtey Lodge

Situated in the sacred heights of Gangtey Valley, it offers you an experience of connecting with nature in its purest form. Here, the lodge itself merges with the landscape, giving you panoramic views of the mountains and allowing you to explore the richness of wildlife. Its spectacular design allows it to be a strategic spot for bird watching.

Bumthang Lodge

Here guests will enjoy a memorable journey with spectacular scenery of cultivated terraces, river valleys and traditional farms. The road to the lodge winds through the picturesque Yotong La Mountains and down into the Chhume Valley, home of Bhutan’s famous Yathra cloth.

*Fun fact: Being inside a pine forest, it is called the Forest within the Forest.

Paro Lodge

Surrounded by towering peaks and golden rice fields, this picturesque hotel will immerse you in the peaceful surroundings, while enjoying first-class services and panoramic views. It is located in the Paro Valley, which is a mix of small villages, historic buildings, monuments and rice fields.

Six Senses Bhutan will make you escape from reality during your trip to fully immerse yourself in the richness of a destination where nature, culture and luxury meet in perfect harmony. Your adventure in Bhutan awaits you!
