Six Senses Southern Dunes and Six Senses Amaala
What better way to welcome 2026 than by sharing some great news: Six Senses Southern Dunes and Six Senses Amaala (opening scheduled for this year) are joining our portfolio. Two very special projects in Saudi Arabia that uniquely reflect how luxury is evolving into truly distinctive properties.
Six Senses Southern Dunes

Located in the southern Tabuk Region, in the interior of Saudi Arabia, and open for two years, this resort is part of The Red Sea Development Project, an initiative that is transforming the way people travel and discover the country, focusing on development that respects the environment and local culture.
The hotel’s design is inspired by Bedouin traditions and the surrounding landscapes of dunes, mountains and open horizons. The entire project has been conceived to blend naturally into its environment, offering a calm, authentic experience deeply connected to its destination.
Six Senses Southern Dunes features 76 accommodations, including rooms, suites and private pool villas with one to four bedrooms. The spaces are spacious and filled with natural light, designed to enjoy the desert in comfort and privacy, using materials and colors that reflect the local identity.

- Six Senses Spa, with nearly 4,000 sqm dedicated to wellbeing, combining treatments inspired by local traditions with movement, meditation and technology.
- A diverse culinary offering with three restaurants, Brew Bar, Cooking School & Chef’s Table, Gelato Pod and destination dining experiences, under theEat With Six Senses
- Cultural and leisure activities such asCinema Under the Stars, Earth Lab, Artisan Pods and handcrafted experiences that allow guests to discover the history and traditions of the region.
- Sustainability is a key element of the project, present both in its design and daily operations, with initiatives focused on conservation, education and collaboration with local communities.

Six Senses Amaala

It is scheduled to open in mid-2026. Located in Triple Bay, along the Red Sea coast and within a protected nature reserve, Amaala is born from the words hope and purity, reflecting the essence of the project and its close connection with nature.
- A wide range of wellness and exercise options, with personalised programmes, sports activities and spaces dedicated to recovery, in line with one of Amaala’s key pillars: wellness and sport.
- A diverse gastronomic offering, highlighting its flagship restaurant called Soraya, and its destination dining experiences, all under the Eat With Six Senses philosophy, based on natural, local and sustainable ingredients.
- Leisure and social facilities, including outdoor freshwater and saltwater pools, an open-air cinema, an Experience Centre, a library and a Six Senses Boutique.
- Activities linked to the marine environment, such as water sports, diving and guided experiences with marine biologists, reinforcing the connection with the Red Sea and the sea, sun and lifestyle pillar.
The resort will combine beachfront residences, a hillside village and private villas, inspired by the region’s traditional coastal villages and with open views of Hijaz Cove, crystal-clear lagoons and pristine beaches. Its proposal will be structured around the three pillars of Amaala — wellness and sport, art and culture, and sea, sun and lifestyle.
